Dance Against Cancer Raised More Than $96,000 to Benefit American Cancer Society
The third annual Dance Against Cancer raised more than $96,000 for the American Cancer Society. The evening began with cocktails, a performance and then a reception.
All proceeds from the event will benefit research initiatives as well as all patient and family services programs that American Cancer Society funds. Dance Against Cancer was presented by producers Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht, with host committee members Rose Caiola, Stuart Coleman, Julia Gruen, Heather Watts, Christopher Wheeldon.

More than 400 patrons attended the evening’s performance, produced by New York City Ballet’s Daniel Ulbricht and Manhattan Youth Ballet’s Erin Fogarty, which featured stars from New York City Ballet (NYCB), American Ballet Theatre (ABT), Martha Graham Dance Company, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, and Norwegian National Ballet.

Celebrities are sending thoughts & donations out to Oklahoma after a massive, tornado ripped through Oklahoma City on Monday.
The natural disaster leveled homes, businesses and an Elementary School in the suburb of Moore.
At least 24 people have reportedly died as a result of the tornado, and rescue workers are still searching for victims trapped in the rubble.
Stars are currently taking to Twitter to react to the devastation and sending prayers & donations to Oklahoma.
